We recently customized a submarine high-voltage cable for an overseas customer. It is precisely designed for submarine high-voltage transmission and long-term underwater laying environment, and adopts multiple water-blocking, corrosion-resistant, tensile-resistant, and mechanical impact-resistant structures.

Highlights of the core structure:

• Aluminum conductor: adopts a special-shaped compact structure to reduce the outer diameter and weight of the cable, making it easier to lay;

• Conductor shielding + XLPE insulation + insulation shielding: three-layer co-extrusion to ensure stable electrical performance;

• Copper tape shielding + water-blocking tape: improve anti-interference and fault handling capabilities;

• Each core has a longitudinal aluminum foil + PE inner sheath double-layer radial water-blocking structure, which significantly improves the waterproof level.

External structural advantages:

• Polyethylene (PE) filling rope: maintains roundness and enhances pressure resistance;

• Taping fixation: prevents core wire displacement;

• PE lining + galvanized steel wire armor: enhances underwater tensile strength and impact resistance;

• HDPE outer sheath: resistant to seawater, corrosion, and UV rays, it is an ideal underwater sheath material.
