Aluminum core insulated overhead cable is an efficient power transmission solution designed for overhead power transmission system. It is made of hard aluminum conductor and weather-resistant polymer insulation material (such as cross-linked polyethylene XLPE). It is lightweight, has high mechanical strength and excellent electrical performance. It is suitable for medium and low voltage distribution network (1kV-35kV), especially for complex terrain, high corrosion environment and large span installation scene. It is an economical choice to replace traditional bare wire and copper core cable.
